Golden Peacock setting!
Tonight is one of those many events that the resort likes to throw. A lavish formal party, with masks and laced drinks no doubt to make the guests feel a certain type of way. He hasn't been socializing much, and the isolation has driven Troy to actually participate in this gala. Clad in a double-breasted suit; his jacket decorated with a scale-like texture. A tie is absent around his neck, preferring to leave the top buttons off so his chest can breathe and be seen. Troy's features are freshly groomed for this night, leaving himself with a thin stubble along his lips and his jaw. He scans the crowd while he walks with a relaxed pace, looking for familiar faces in a sea of people standing side by side.
Then he sees her; the beautiful woman he met in the Vale, standing without someone beside her. He strides towards her, greeting her with a smile as their eyes meet and only speaking once he's just outside her arms' reach. ]
Surprised to see you're all by yourself, or did your date just take a little break?

But the Peacock is, as ever, a persistent threat. And when a game calls, they have to answer or likely be punished.
With another night of something likely to lead to debauchery (as it is wont to do), she attends the masked party, though she isn't quite hiding herself. The mask is a simple black lace, obfuscating enough to count but not enough to completely hide herself. Hair in a braid, adorned in a dress of deepest red, she's not precisely attempting to throw anyone off, only to try to enjoy herself with what she can. No drink is in her hands but she is, in fact, alone...up until she hears a familiar voice.
Dorothea glances his way and allows a smile to light up her expression. ]
I've been around a bit but as the night's worn on, people are falling to their drinks.
[ And their suits, though she can't judge any of that. A brow lifts. ]
I'm equally surprised you don't have anyone on your arm. Or chasing after you. [ A wink. ] No one's caught your eye tonight?

No one yet.
[ He admits, making him remember how he's been keeping to himself in recent days. But not wanting to look sad, he adds almost defensively: ]
Though to be fair I just got here, and seeing you have no drink on your hand I suppose I can get you one.
[ Troy looks around, seeing the drinks table and knowing it's definitely laced with something. He doesn't really feel like being here, and the fact he reached a time that the party is starting to slow down, he feels it's more reason to leave or step out for a bit. ]
Maybe from someplace else, like the convenience store just outside the venue?
